Lead-zinc deposit is a kind of mineral resource rich in lead and zinc elements. Lead and zinc have an extensive application, widely used in electrical industry, machinery industry, military industry, metallurgy industry, chemical industry, light industry, pharmaceutical industry, and etc. In addition, lead also has multiple purposes in nuclear industry, oil department and so on. Lead is one of the metals which are earlier refined from the lead-zinc ores by human. It is the softest heavy metal, with large specific gravity. Lead is easy to be made into alloy together with other metals.

Lead-Zinc Ore Beneficiation Process Flow

The complete equipment used in lead-zinc ore beneficiation generally includes jaw crusher, hammer crusher, impact crusher, vertical impact crusher, high-efficiency and energy-saving ball mill, vibrating screen, spiral classifier, energy-efficient flotation machine, mixing barrel, feeder machine, concentrator, elevator, spiral chute, shaking table, and so forth.

Lead-zinc ore dressing process generally can be classified into three manners.

1. Crushing, grinding, grading, flotation;

2. Crushing, grinding, gravity separation;

3. Crushing, screening, calcination.

The recovery rate of lead-zinc ore can be up to 90%, with lead concentrate accounting for about 75% and zinc concentrate about 45%.
