Coal slime dryer or slurry dryer is a device used for drying slime collectively. Due to the special nature of coal slime, our company has made many improvements for the coal slime dryer including increasing preheating equipment, improving the hot blast stove, changing the scattered equipment, etc. Coal slime dryer and sludge dryer have the same function to some degree.
Coal slime dryer is a kind of rotary dryer, and it is the modified result of rotary dryer. Because the coal slime has the characteristics of high humidity, when drying, coal slime needs to be hit and scattered firstly, and then put the coal slime into the exporting area with high temperature and negative pressure. In the exporting area, the coal slime rapidly evaporates lots of moisture coming across high temperature gas. And then delivery the coal slime into the dryer for drying. This can reduce the length of the dryer and save construction cost for the users.
